Interesting patterns with carpet tiles
The use of carpet tiles over traditional carpet is a very personal choice. There are a number of things to take into account, such as the room that is to be carpeted and also who the room is for.
This second point is often overlooked but can be a great opportunity to do something really interesting with carpet tiles that just isn’t possible with carpet. Coming in sets of varying numbers, you will often need to purchase multiple sets of tiles to cover an entire room. This is where things get interesting.
Creating patterns with tiled carpets
Say the room you’re decorating is for a young child, would they rather have a carpet that is one uniform colour or something multi-coloured? Multi-coloured of course!! With carpet tiles this is possible because you can buy sets in different colours and lay them in different patterns. You can even take them up and re-arrange them if you want to change the look of the floor. Having seen floors created in this way I can say for certain they provide a lot more enjoyment for children than a standard carpet!
